Cleaning Up the Oceans
Plastic waste is one of the most pressing environmental issues, polluting oceans and harming marine life. Waste Free Oceans, and NGO based in Brussels, works to remove and recycle plastic waste from seas and rivers across the globe. Their projects span locations such as the Azores, the Dominican Republic, Hong Kong, the Black Sea, and the Danube River.
