To combat biodiversity loss, PANGAIA has launched initiatives like the Tomorrow Tree Fund, which focuses on planting, protecting, and restoring trees. MIRUM® is a 100% bio-based, animal-free leather alternative used in PANGAIA "leather" bags and accessories.

PANGAIA was created to scale next-gen materials through innovative lifestyle products. The brand now features 100% bio-based MIRUM®, a plastic-free, cruelty-free leather alternative with regenerative cotton backing.

This sustainable material avoids the animal cruelty and environmental harm linked to traditional leather and fossil-based synthetics. The mono-material design ensures durability, comfort, and recyclability, while the minimalist bag features slim straps, a roomy interior, and laser-engraved branding, highlighting PANGAIA’s Earth-positive mission.

The Absolute Sneaker

The Absolute Sneakers use on-demand production and a single material to reduce waste, avoiding surplus stock. The model is powered by Zellerfeld 3D printing technology. Unlike traditional sneakers, they eliminate the need for steel moulds, harsh adhesives, and high-energy factory lines, significantly lowering their carbon footprint.

Traditional sneakers can contain up to 40 materials, making them difficult to disassemble and recycle. However, the Absolute Sneaker, powered by 3D printing, is made from one material. Reducing reliance on components that are hard to recycle ensures the shoes can be properly repurposed by Zellerfeld into new sneakers after use.

Circular business is at the forefront, by focusing on our products’ end-of-life impact. In 2023, 85% of our sold items were easily recyclable with current systems. Moving forward, we aim to integrate biocompatibility principles to improve product disposal.
